Dr. Fereshteh Yousefzadeh
Doctor Fereshteh Yousefzadeh (“Dr. Y”) obtained her undergraduate degree from University of Southern California (USC) with a major in Biology and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. She then continued for her dental degree at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where she also graduated Summa Cum Laude, achieved highest academic achievement in her graduating class and was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. She next attended University of Washington and received her certificate in Orthodontics and also earned Master of Science in Dentistry. She has presented her Orthodontics research findings internationally and has published her studies in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She has been practicing since 2008 and has enjoyed creating beautiful smiles for her patients.
Dr. Y’s passion for orthodontics started at a very early age, when she herself needed extensive orthodontics work to correct her dentofacial malocclusion. When she was 8 years old, she decided to become an orthodontist and has worked very hard to achieve her goal. She now truly enjoys her passion for providing life-long beautiful transformations for her patients
She attends regular continuing education courses to further advance her knowledge in Orthodontics and provide the most current methods and appliances and advances in the field to her patients. She is a member of American Association of Orthodontics, Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, California Orthodontic Association and is a board certified diplomate of American Board of Orthodontics.
When not practicing orthodontics, Dr. Y enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her husband and her three young children. She loves reading, cooking, making jewelry, volunteering at her children’s schools and throughout the community.
